Hotels accused of bribing guests in exchange for glowing reviews on TripAdvisor

Manly travellers these days are doing their holiday research on the internet. It's a fabulous wealth of information but unfortunately these days it is getting hard to tell what is actually real and what is not and this article about reviews on TripAdvisor reflects our fears. It's interesting to note that 'KwikChex, a UK-based company specialising in protecting online reputations, said it had at least 700 members in the hospitality business who have either committed to or are considering legal action against TripAdvisor.'  And it's not just false reviews, it's also fake websites (ie selling tickets for the world cup or fake accommodation sites etc). How do you know who to trust unless you can talk to a real person?

Concierge Traveller loans Kindles to clients for their holidays

In yet another first for Australian travel agents, Concierge Traveller now has Amazon Kindle e-book readers to loan out to clients when they go on holiday as part of the Concierge Black range of services.

Whilst debate reigns over traditional books versus digital there is no doubting the benefits of a Kindle for travellers who will be away for more than a week at a time.

For starters, they can hold up to 2,300 books so no longer will clients need to lug around several books plus their travel guide and dictionary. On Concierge Traveller Kindles clients will find a range of travel guides, the latest best sellers, classics, foreign language dictionaries and more. What does this mean for Concierge Traveller clients? More room in your suitcase to fit your overseas purchases of course!

Other benefits include their ease of use, battery life (30 days), their light weight and easy to hold slim form and the non-back-lit screen which means no strain on the eyes.

For more information about Concierge Traveller Kindles or any of the Concierge Black services visit http://www.conciergetraveller.com.au/concierge-black
